Shimano's Tiralejo series surfcasting rods are built to fulfill the needs of surf anglers who chase striped bass, bluefish, and other species from the beach or jetty, these classy, innovative rods stand out from the standard surf stick. All the rods feature Shimano's new TC4 K Construction, a blend of high-modulus graphite and carbon fibers that makes them lightweight, strong, responsive and extremely sesitive. The most innovative feature, however, is the new Slide 'N' Grip custom reel seat, which slides up and down the butt end to position the reel to suit anglers' personal styles.
