Penn's levelwind reels were getting a little long in the tooth so they started from scratch and released the impressive Penn Fathom Levelwind Reels. The Fathoms feature an all metal body and spool, strong marine-grade internals and four ball bearings. The drag system is superior to all others in its category, putting out a whopping 30 lbs at max! This will allow you to fish for anything from inshore to offshore species. The levelwind system in the Penn Fathoms is strong as well. They use an oversized worm gear to help increase the longevity of the levelwind system. Spool a Fathom up with braid or mono and take it on the water. You will love its power!
Penn Fathom Levelwind Reels are available in five sizes. The Fathom 40 and 60 models are equipped with reversible harness lugs.
