The Daiwa Tatula Type R TATULA-R100HL Left Handed Baitcasting Reel is part of Daiwa’s attempt to break into the freshwater bass market in a big way. Here you have a reel that has a lot of the bells and whistles of higher end fishing reels, as well as Daiwa’s very cool T-Wing levelwind system. The Type R version of the Tatula includes an extra ball bearing (two of which are corrosion resistant) and a carbon fiber star drag which brings the weight down to a feather-light 7.6 ozs.

The Daiwa Tatula Type R TATULA-R100HL Left Handed Baitcasting Reel has a one-piece aluminum frame and huge gears making it sturdy and powerful. Daiwa included their top of the line Ultimate Tournament Drag and nine ball bearings. The Tatula is extremely smooth. It’s a really nice package, and at $199.95, you get a lot for your money. If you’d like to buy a TATULA-R100HL, you can buy one at jandh.com or come into our store and check it out! I am very impressed with this left handed freshwater fishing reel!
