Welcome to the J&H Tackle Customer Service page. J&H Tackle is committed to providing our customers with the highest level of customer service possible. We strive to serve all your fishing needs with the guaranteed lowest prices and a wide selection of products. Below you will find some frequently asked questions as well as links to our store policies.

Is everything in your physical store on your web site?

While we list a majority of the products we sell in our physical store, we do not list all of them. Items not listed on our web site include sinkers, rigs, swivels, hooks, and other small items We are working to change this. If you are looking for something but don't see it on the site, please contact us!

Is everything on your web site in your physical store?

Yes. If you live locally, it is best if you come into the store to make your purchase as you will save on shipping charges.

What if I don't see the item I want?

If you are interested in an item that is not listed on our web site, please email josh@jandh.com or call (866) 506-6600 and we will try our best to get it for you.

How can I place an order?

The best way to order is through our secure online ordering system. You may also send your order request via email (josh@jandh.com), or call us toll free (866) 506-6600. We are located in NY, so if you are calling during off hours, please leave a message and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

How can I pay?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, PayPal, Money Orders and Wired Fund Transfers. For international orders, please visit our International Orders page for more details on the payment process.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most orders leave our warehouse in 1-2 business days. We ship out of New York so time in transit is based on the distance to the package's final destination. Most packages reach the customer within 1 week.

What happens if I don't receive my package?

Please contact us immediately! All UPS and most USPS shipments are covered by insurance that guarantees J&H Tackle will replace packages that are lost or damaged dur

What if something doesn't fit or I change my mind?

You are welcome to return or exchange any items purchased from J&H Tackle within 14 days of receiving them. The products must be returned in the same condition they were received in. Clothing must be unworn and in the orignal packaging. Shoes must be unworn and in the original box. J&H Tackle will refund the product cost, and sales tax only. All shipping fees incurred will be your responsibility. This includes shipments that qualified for discounted or free shipping. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping. Please use our Returns Center to process your exchange or return.

Are back order arrival dates guaranteed?

Back order arrival dates are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to change. They are not guaranteed.

Will I have to pay any taxes or import duties?

There are no U.S. taxes for international customers; however, you will be responsible for any additional customs handling fees, duties and/or taxes. Because each country is different, and these fees change often, we do not publish these fees. Your local post/customs office can give you this information. New York State residents are subject to the state sales tax.

Guaranteed Lowest Prices

J&H guarantees that we have the lowest prices on the Internet. If you find a lower price on any product we stock, we would like the opportunity to match it. While we hope that our professionalism and "Best in Class” customer service are the reasons you buy from us, we realize that price is critical. We want to assure you that when you choose to buy from J&H Tackle, you are getting the lowest prices anywhere. We routinely scan our competitors to assure that our prices can't be beat. There are some limitations. We must be able to verify the lower price. Lower prices that cannot be confirmed will not be honored. Simply call or email us and if we can verify a lower price, we will match it. We reserve the right to confirm lower prices before any final J&H Tackle sale. The source of a lower price must come from an authorized dealer within the United States of the product in question (i.e., authorized Avet, Penn, Shimano, etc dealer). If the price does not come from an authorized source, current J&H Tackle prices stand. J&H Tackle does not match prices from eBay or other auction sites.

Policy Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy in whole or in part, we will inform you by posting a notice on our web site. Those changes will go into effect on the date posted in the notice. The new policy will apply to all current and past users of our web site and will replace any prior policies that are inconsistent.
