The TLD15 puts out 22# of drag which is transferred to the spool via an oversized lever that’s very user friendly. The 4.0:1 gear ratio can be used for light jigging techniques, but it’s definitely more of a trolling or bottom fishing reel. The braid ready spool can accommodate 500 yards of 65# braid. The TLD15 comes with a comfortable, counter balanced handle and will rotate very smoothly thanks to the 4 AR-B ball bearings that grace the interior of this reel.
