St Croix stepped the Mojo up to an SCIII carbon blank that is more sensitive than the previous generation. They changed the aluminum-oxide guides to Sea Guide Hero which are designed for fishing braided lines. The grips have gotten a modern update that will make them last longer. Some have cork fore and rear grips while others have a mix of cork and EVA in the butt section for more durability. These models also have a rubber gimbal, which comes in handy when you're fighting a big fish or if you like using a belt. The Thanos purple finish is gone, replaced with a really nice blue/green.
