Actually picked up a second black/blue BV-300 because I loved the first so much. Powerful, light, well built, looks great, really nothing not to love here.

Best damn reel I ever bought, caught my first BFT on my first trip, landed a 145lbs in 10min on 65# maxcuatro, 50#flouro leader. Captain was speechless after landing the fish, and didn't bother me from casting my light setup. I just loved this reel, JandH is the only store selling boss valiant with different color, definitely recommended. Getting the BV2 500N for 200lbs+ setup. More fishing time with lighter and powerful setup like this... can't beat it, my talica and tranx 500 are collecting dust.
The Accurate Boss Valiant BV-300 Lever Drag Reel is a part of a new breed of fishing reel! The BV-300 is constructed of aluminum and is extremely light weight at just 9.9 ozs. Accurate has equipped it with their patented TwinDrag system that delivers smooth, powerful drag. The lever drag system features a completely unfettered design with a single stop at strike and no buttons to push to take you into full. Accurate Boss Valiant BV-300 Lever Drag Reels are available in a 6:1 and 5:1 gear ratios. They have 2 anti-reverse bearings. 9 bearings in total. The 6:1 reel are available in multiple colors. The 5:1 gear ratio reels are silver/black. The BV-300C has a clicker while the other models do not.
