I've fished with Avets before so I pretty well knew what I was getting. That's why I bought it and I would again. I'm pleased with the G2's added drag capabilities and the magnetic cast feature. This is more a review of J and H Tackle. There was a small problem with my order due to human error. I don't judge a business by whether or not errors happen but how they are dealt with. J and H fast and professionally. The provided exceptional customer service. That combined with competitive prices will have me using them now on for my tackle needs rather than many of their well known "large competitors" that used to have my business. An Avet G2 MXL Lever Drag Reel will help you dominate inshore/nearshore species! It's like Avet turbocharged the MXL and the result is nothing short of awesome! Avet upped the drag power in the G2 MXL to 20 lbs at max and increased the line capacity to 620 yards of 50 lb braid. This will allow you to downsize your tackle to a smaller reel, smaller rod and cut out a lot of dead weight.
