Have used it for about a year now for some porgy, seabass, and even some cod fishing. It is a a great little comfortable reel that weights next to nothing. Love the thumb release, makes it that much easier to let go and set the line on the bottom, something I loved with some heavy duty low profile reels I also use. Have it paired to a Lami stick making it a dream machine in my opinion. Like it so much thinking of getting the 25 version when it comes out.

(HY25L - Left Handed) Picked this up in the fall for stripers and bottom fishing. The reel is flawless and I have had no problems, and I am pretty rough only equipment. All I do is soon as I get off the boat is since my rods a reels with fresh water sick them in my rod holder in the front of the truck and they will dry on the way home. I always select left-handed because I am right-handed! Think about it!
