An Accurate Boss Valiant BV2-500N Two-Speed Lever Drag Reel will take your fishing experience to the next level! The BV2-500N brings that tall profile, narrow spool that West Coast anglers love to jig with! The guys don't get to have all the fun, as this is also a tremendous bottom fishing reel! The BV2-500N is constructed of aluminum and features Accurate's patented TwinDrag system that puts out 25+ lbs of drag at max, stainless steel gears that will last a long time, stainless steel ball bearings, and an oversized anti-reverse bearing for precision and performance. This bearing eliminates the chance of failure. Use the two-speed mechanism to switch between gears. Drop it down to low when you have a fish on and you'll be surprised how much easier it is to bring that beast at the end of your line to the surface than with a single-speed reel. Accurate even managed to fit in a clicker on the sideplate. The lever drag system is progressive with a single stop at strike and no button to push when you want to move towards full. Accurate is now making a version of this reel that is specifically designed for slow pitch jigging. The BV2-500N-SPJ differs from the regular verison in that it has a longer handle with a very cool long offset aluminum knob, no clicker and it doesn't come with a clamp set though you can purchse one if you need it. It weighs a bit more due to the large handle. These models are all silver.
Accurate Boss Valiant BV2-500N and BV2-500N-SPJ Two-Speed Lever Drag Reels have 6:1/ and 3/1 gear ratios. The BV2-500N are available in silver/red while the BV2-500N-SPJ are all silver. Choose from right and left handed models.
