I feel like a new man. Just landed my first 50lbs + fish. Cranked it in like a champ once I down shifted.. Top notch reel..best I have ever used hands down extremely happy. Was gonna get the Jx raptor wasn't sure if it was going to be too big...i was surprised to see how small the Mxl was when I got it I bet the Jx is just right for me.. These reels are spendy but well worth it. I WILL be buying more AvetS ASAP hopefully a Jx Sx & Sxj I want them all....

The Avet MXL 6/4 MC Raptor Lever Drag Reel is a phenomenal fishing reel. Over the past year or so, most major manufacturers have come out with small, powerful 2-speed lever drag reels. Avet's is a beefed up MXL with MC Cast (magnetic cast control), an upgraded lever drag system, and puts out an amazing 26 lbs max drag. It features a dual drag system similar to those used in Accurate reels. This small fishing reel puts out a tremendous amount of power and is extremely versatile!
