This series is only available in a compact 3000 size and full 4000 size models. The Exsence is constructed of magnesium that is lightweight and durable. With X-Protect and its labyrinth water resistant system, these reels can handle boat and surf fishing. Don't be afraid to get it wet. It will keep going. The Exsence features Hagane gearing, X-Ship, eleven S A-RB corrosion resistant ball bearings and a powerful drag system that puts out 20+ lbs of drag at max! If you're looking for a lightweight, smooth reel that can handle a wide variety of fish, a Shimano Exsence Spinning Reel is a great option. It's a great crossover reel for anglers who fish in both freshwater and saltwater situations.
Shimano Exsence Spinning Reel are available in C3000, and 4000 in black. They all feature high gear ratios (6.0:1-6.2:1). These reels have shallow spools and do not hold a lot of line. They are meant for shallow water fishing.
