The Shimano Talica Two-Speed Lever Drag Reels are Shimano's answer to all of the powerful 2-speed lever drag reels that have come out on the market over the past few years. What Shimano has done is combine the power and superior gearing of their Torsa reels with the castability of the Trinidad reels. This has resulted in an amazing saltwater series of reels that is extremely powerful, casts far and has a 2-speed. The Talicas are ultra-smooth and an absolute pleasure to fish. Oversized carbon drag washers put out 20-40 lbs of drag, depending on the model, and Shimano's internals are second to none. The Talica features an E.I. surface treatment for ultimate corrosion protection, an aluminum body, sideplate and spool, seven ball bearings, a waterproof drag and a comfortable oversized handle. Don't settle for a lesser reel. If you want performance, reliability and a really great fishing experience, then a Shimano Talica fishing reel is the way to go!
Shimano Talica Two-Speed Lever Drag Reels are available in seven sizes starting at an 8II and going all the way up to a 50II. They are silver with gold accents.
