This reel is Well Made, Very Light for it's size, Well Balanced, the bait drag system works fantastic, the only thing holding it back a little is the 20 lb. drag limit. I kayak fish in Hawaii and it's the best bait spinner I've used so far. Shimano is the best. The drag on live bait can be adjusted on the fly it's not pre-set, so you can adjust it for any size bait, large, or small. The drag knob on the bottom of the reel makes it easy. This feature is a must for varied sizes and types of live bait. I used to use the OC 6000 model and it still works fine, but decided to move up and get the best and the THUNNUS 8000 IS IT. I love that it's a spinner so I don't have to adjust my style of fishing. I Just like Spinners. I would also like to add that J&H Tackle has a very good customer service department.
