Shimano upgraded it using their excellent Hi-Power X blank technology that gives the rod a better feel than the previous generation. They are outfitted with SeaGuide Zirconia guides which are made for braided fishing lines, a custom EVA fore grip and Diamond Wrap rear grips for excellent grip. The reel seat is either graphite or aluminum based on the model. At the end of every rod is an aluminum gimbal so make sure you bring a belt.
