This rod is beautiful I got it just in time for my trip down south excited to fish it. It's gonna be a big step up from a ugly stick. You definitely won't be disappointed if you buy this rod
Phenix Black Diamond Surf Spinning Rods are constructed of the highest quality components. Phenix uses Toray graphite composite blanks that are extremely powerful yet lightweight. They are ultra-sensitive and will deliver the performance you require when fishing for big fish from the beach! The Black Diamond series features Fuji K guides that will help you cast farther, especially when using braid. They have also incorporated a Fuji expandable reel seat that allows you to place the reel anywhere you want. This adds to your overall comfort and is a great feature!
